Fight Quality Film Review – Rocky IV (1985)

The next instalment of the Rocky franchise sees the champ still holding the belt and a new challenger rising – Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren).

Backed by all the technology of the Soviet Union (including their standard approach to anti-doping policies) Drago is a power house, seemingly unbeatable and represents all the pride of the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War. Apollo Creed steps up to face him in an ‘exhibition bout’ that costs the ex-champ everything. Can Rocky step up, represent his country take on the unstoppable Russian? Sounds like it’s time for… a training montage!

Fight Quality Film Review – Rocky IV (1985)

Another classic boxing film, and my personal favourite of the Rocky franchise, we see old school training vs the height of technology clash in an epic battle in the ring, and it has you on the edge of your seat through the whole fight.

“If he dies, he dies”
