Hayabusa have recently announced their official collaboration with Marvel for the new Marvel Hero Elite series.
From what we’ve seen so far the focus of the range is on their 5 new Marvel character themed boxing gloves. The lineup currently features Iron Man, Captain Marvel, The Punisher, Captain America and Black Panther.
The gloves themselves are based on Hayabusa’s popular T3 series (which our review found to be a well made glove with superb wrist support). The new builds drop the panelled design on the back of the hand to make way for the highly themed designs.
Some of the designs also appear to be asymmetrical with two differently designed gloves. This is instantly noticeable on the Captain America gloves, but there are also subtle differences visible on The Punisher gloves too.
If Boxing Gloves aren’t your thing, the range also appears to include some fightwear, with Punisher themed Rash Guards, Fight Shorts and even a Gi.
Time will tell whether other Hayabusa X Marvel releases become available at a later date, but the collaboration is likely to be a big hit amongst Marvel fans of all levels.
At the moment the Hayabusa X Marvel range is available to pre-order, with equipment estimated to ship in early March.
Hayabusa should make HULK gloves and infinity gauntlets that would be sweet.
