Have RDX Unveiled the Future of Boxing Gloves? RDX Sports Nova Tech S8

Boxing and MMA Brand RDX Sports have recently released their new Nova Tech Gloves – what they claim to be the world’s first ever wrinkle free boxing glove.

When looking into your gear bag, it’s often easy to think that over the years equipment never changes. Boxing gloves are constrained a little more than other fight gear. Fight gloves are often tested by strict authorities to ensure they are safe and of high enough quality for competitions, while training gloves are usually bound to weight limits, especially sparring gloves.

Despite this, there is definitely still innovation. Just take a look at our round-up of Unique and Innovative Boxing Gloves.

While most gloves try to be unique with a new type of padding or wrist, RDX Sports have decided to take a much more dramatic approach, changing what has been a staple of boxing glove designs since their invention.

The New Nova Tech S8 Boxing gloves – which retail at £120.00 – avoid all wrinkles and folds in the leather, creating a more streamlined glove which is designed specifically for the shape of the hand.

The gloves also appear to feature a number of other upgrades, with the Nova Tech contributing to a distinctive shock absorbency system through impact attenuators.

  1. RDX have smartly fixed a point unnoticeable by other brands and fixed the wrinkles, nice going, confused whether the wrinkles help in elasticity during hits
