The ‘Hybrid 100’ range of boxing gloves from Adidas isn’t exactly a new line, but these black and gold versions are a new edition to the range. The black and gold makes for quite a nice colour, looking a bit more toned down and sophisticated compared to the significantly brighter options available previously.
After the popularity of Hayabusa’s original Mizuchi range, they’ve now come back with an awesome new re-design, featuring the ‘Mizuchi’ (a mythological japanese water dragon) with a new monochrome design, and a subtle background texture very similar to the one seen on the Ikusa Charged range of gear, including the Ikusa Charged Shin Guards we’ve reviewed.
Hayabusa’s monochrome visuals may be great for some people, but what if you prefer something slightly more colourful? Well in that case it looks like Hypnotik have got your back. The range, including a rashguard, spats and fight shorts, make for a vibrant space themed kit which would look pretty cool either as a matching set or even just mixed in with other gear.
We love the look of these new Sanabul ‘Battle Forged’ Muay Thai Gloves. A classic Muay Thai glove in terms of build but without the flashy visuals or obvious logos, instead opting for a much more subtle design.
The Title Gel Rush range of gloves has been around a little while now, but Title have recently released some new, great looking Rush Lace-up gloves.
Okay, so technically the release date is the 1st June, but we couldn’t wait to tell you about the next generation of Training Mask. We reviewed the Training mask 2.0 towards the end of 2016, so we’re excited to see how the new Training Mask 3.0 matches up.
Two major releases from Venumthis month. Firstly, check out the awesome looking Impact Boxing Gloves. Usually we’re not huge fans of camo designs, but we could definitely make an exception for the Dark Camo/Sand version of the Impact range. Also take a look at the Galactic Carbon Dry Tech Top and Fight Shorts, which bring a new textured design to the sharp visual style Venum captures so well.
Vital Impact Protection Boxing Equipment (VIPBE)
VIPBE is a perhaps lesser known boxing brand, but we thought these new gloves deserved a good shout-out. These gloves not only look great but also come in at an amazingly low price, which would make them a decent choice for anybody who’s either just starting out or on a budget.
